Well, as should be painfully obvious to anyone familiar with the book, ATHM is flagrently inspired by Jhonen Vasquez's "JTHM", or Johnney the Homicidal Maniac. If you haven't read it, there is a vacant, gaping hole in your life that you will never realize is there until you do. For the love of God, go to a comic store now and buy a copy!!!! (see? I plug Jhonen. Yay.)

Well, this started as a LiveJournal thing, a summer goal to illustrate all my livejournal entries and thus get much practice in comicing done. Nothing fancy mind you, the idea was that I could be as sloppy as I wanted, thus I would draw more and get used to storytelling flow and all that. Well, it quickly turned into a daily comic, with me as a vaguely Nny-esque personna, although much more manic than homicidal, because that is my cartoon/comic version of me. Then, tragedy!! When my mom switched to DSL, our new internet providers, while much much faster, did not include and webspace as part of the deal! I thus lost the home for my gigantic art site. I had a werewolf site hosted by the kind people of were.net and I attempted to squeeze my art site on there too, but I was fast running out of room and places to put my comics!!! So, in desperation, I turned to keenspace. And that is why my comics are here. (and why the beginning strips are so random and sucky)

Later on I hope to put a character guide here, but that will probably not happen till winter break, since I have no time for such things durring school.

A list of Future Plans for the site:

-- get all the pages looking pretty. This one needs to be splattered!
--Add html pages to all the pictures in the Gallery, and make more pictures!
--organize the comics so they are not all out-of-order
--Decide whether to keep this comic as an exaggerated version of my life, or whether to start making things much more fictional/unlike their real life counterparts. I would be happy to hear any comments you have in this area.
